TWD Comics Podcast?

Have you guys thought about doing a short podcast for the comics either in the spoiler section or as a standalone? I know only A is actively reading the comics and might not be up to date but good coverage for the comics is lacking. There are a couple of podcasts on the subject but they are unlistenable. Please Bald Move, save me from podcasts with guys talking with upward inflections and laughing at their own lame jokes.

I could get down with this. In fact, I would love a comic/graphic novel podcast in general.

Not to promote other podcasts but "Comics under the Covers" does a pretty good job of covering The Walking Dead Graphic Novels

You need to talk Jim into catching up with the comics. I'd totally be down.

Nice, but you know what they say about starting a podcast: it just leads to more podcasts. First The Walking Dead, next thing you know you're covering Scalped, Y: The Last Man, and Locke and Key.

I kinda like Jim being the semi-unsullied. The people I run who are into TWDTV also read the comics so it's nice to hear the opinion of someone who is not having their heart ripped out, ham fingered Temple of Doom style.
Maybe between the seasons do some comic stuff?
  • DamagingOstrich, were you alluding to Under the Comic Covers? I think they do a very good job covering the comic. Although I'd certainly be all for the Bald Move take on it.

Yeah, don't be shy naming names and linking podcasts. It's all good.
  • Yes, I support this. Actually I support a Comics/Manga/Anime podcast in General.

I was referring to an "enthusiast" podcast just for TWD. I will check out UTCC.
  • It's a good idea, part of the regular podcast not a standalone.. I often wonder what issues pertain to the current episode being aired, that may be cool to analyze the crossover.
  • UTTC is great, but they only do highlights of the issues. I would love a more in-depth look.

The top 3-5 was not my preferred method. I would rather have a recap that covers the good and the bad. Do they really have to read and respond to every "hello" line in every email they receive? After the second podcast I had already decided I'd that trend continued I wouldn't continue listening.
