Just wanted to post my zombie team. Also would someone confirm if all my pics are legit in the rules for zombie teams?

2. Mel Gibson from Signs
3. Tom Cruise from Edge of Tomorrow (if we get cornered he can re-set the day)
4. Bones from Star Trek
5. Ash (from Evil Dead)
6. Buffy the Vampire Slayer (SMG)
7. Woody Harrelson from Zombieland
8. Dana Scully (x-files '98 movie version)
9. Robert Nevill from I am Legend
and finally...
10. Conan the Barbarian.

  • In case it interests you, here is an old thread about this. Nice team, for what it's worth.

  • Wonder Woman probably falls under Superhero. she definitely has superpowers. Plus i think the team is 5 max.
  • I just listened to the podcast Jim, a-Ron, and Peter picked 10

If i was to pick a new team as of today it would be this. (SOME EDITS AND CHANGES)

My team was really based on a few recurring themes. I wanted a unique skill from most of them, I wanted survivors who have proven themselves and obviously needed experts at killing.

    1. Dutch : Leader, Military bad ass, survivor
    2. Ellen Ripley : bad ass who doesnt flinch against aliens, woman for procreation, survivor
    3. Black Widow: bad ass, spy, military expert, hand to hand expert, woman for procreation
    4. Mark Whatney: Biologist/Farmer, survivor
    5. Doctor Nick Riveria: doctor, quack (Real doctor would be Hawkeye Pierce)
    6. Macgruber: excellent with putting celery in ass for diversion, expert at building things (real person for team is Mcgyver)
    7. Walter White: Chemist, scientist, genius, mastermind
    8. Lara Croft: bad ass, weapons expert, woman for procreation survivor
    9. Indiana Jones: expert at mythology, historian, bad ass, survivor
    10. Bear Grylls: military expert, wildlife survivor
  • I would argue that Mark Whatney over Mel Gibson from Signs is a no brainer now. I can see where they were going with it but after the Martian came out Mark is clearly the dude you want as your farmer. If he can survive on a desolate planet and farm it while staying sane and normal then he can survive the zombie apoc.
  • Oh hell yeah MW.
  • Can someone confirm TC from EoT is a legit pick?
  • He is but I don't think you get his power. No superpowers is a pretty clear rule. You could argue that you get his mech suit though. They do say something about guys getting to keep their weapons.
  • K I'm still keeping him
  • 1 more. Is Pei Mei a villain or morally ambiguous? Because he was fully respected by the hero/protagonist of the movie...
  • wasnt a big fan of kill bill, which i assume thats what your talking about. Don;t remember the movies well enough to help here.

Depends on who you ask. Clearly Black Mamba and California Mountain Snake had differing opinions.

I can't think of anything pei mei did that would make him morally ambiguous or a villain?

California Mountain Snake was pretty sore about him taking her eye. I mean, I think she called him an old fool so I guess you could just consider that harsh punishment.
  • according to this wiki Pei Mei killed like 60 people because of an insult. Have no idea if this was actually referenced in the movie or just some random dude inserting this into the wiki. If it was referenced then he definitely leans more evil.

Back in 1003 ("one-double [n]aught-three") in China, as Pai Mei was traveling down a road, a Shaolin monk crossed paths with him. Pai Mei gave a slight nod to the monk, who did not return it. Although the motives of the monk remain unknown, whether it was an insult or a misunderstanding, Pai Mei tracked him down at the Shaolin Temple. He demanded that the head Abbot kill himself as a means of retribution, but the Abbot refused. Consequently, Pai Mei single-handedly massacred all sixty of the monks residing in the temple.

That's definitely fan fic, or maybe was cut out of the film...

I'd agree that the eye snatch was harsh punishment OR reverse karma?

It's actually from the scene where Bill and The Bride are sitting around a fire and he has that big flute type instrument.
  • But then isn't the punisher a villain then? I can't imagine the Bride having so much respect for a villain. And isn't the bride a villain then also?
