Best Emmy/Golden Globes Moments?

In light of the recent Emmy nominations, it got me thinking about moments in previous Emmy or Golden Globes years (focusing on tv here) that I thought were really memorable for one reason or another.  For me, the best moment was Jon Hamm *finally* winning an Emmy for his portrayal of Don Draper in Mad Men.  This came after the series had wrapped, so it might be due to the history of Emmy and Golden Globes finally awarding an actor or show once it ends, but regardless - he SO deserved it, and it was very, very overdue.  I love the enthusiastic applause he got, not only when he was announced as a nominee but also once he was announced as the winner.

Best Golden Globes moments? Every time Ricky Gervais hosted. Well not the 4th time, that was awful. He needs Stephen Merchant's help with the jokes and by 2016 they'd parted ways.
