Is "In Flanders Fields" read in any other country?

I never hear it mentioned by anyone from anywhere else.

  • Well, since I assume it's read in the UK and Canada and I know it's known in the USA, then I'm going to say the answer is yes.

The author is Canadian, we read it every year in school.

It is a regular part of UK remembrance events and is studied in many schools here.
  • I'd say in the US, it is not an embedded part of our culture.  It is not something we return to annually.  I would not think that the average American is very familiar with it.
