Just got a burrito bowl from Chipotle that I ordered online and typically I'm a little disappointed at the amount of food I get when I order online vs. get it in store. Not today Zombieland rule number 32: Enjoy the little things.
Today my day is being made by the memory that Vanilla Ice once said "shling-a-shlong" in a manner that would indicate that he was trying to make it a "thing people say." #CoolAsIce
I have had a rough day/week at work so far and I have been feeling kind of down about myself and very stressed. My boss called me after work to check in. He let me know he appreciates me and understands that I have been stepping up in a tough situation. It made me feel a lot better. I am feeling grateful for the acknowledgement and random kindness.
I just started a thread on a Hulu documentary on the Dana Carvey Show and I cancelled it instead of pressing post so anyway the documentary made my day it was a surprise and I laughed my ass off.
Every time I think of A.Ron calling Jim a "Job Gobbler" (on BMTV) I can't stop giggling. Between that and the Nick Cage accents on lunch. My day is made.
It's less than a week until my wife's birthday and I happened upon some mermaid wrapping paper, so that was a nice time...and then mermaid paper plates...and a mermaid Happy Birthday banner.

I was in a grab with my Wife and I bust out laughing when they were trying the nic cage voice. My Wife thinks I’m crazy.
Sunday Funday! This crazy looking thing is making my day today. Took my boys to “SMOOSH”, this new cookie ice cream sandwich place. This is blue cookie crunch in between red velvet chocolate chip. Then I had it rolled in Fruity Pebbles. So naughty.
My brother’s dog. I’d been taking care of him while he was on vacation all week. He’s a rescue so the new surroundings give him anxiety (peed a couple times inside) but he was good after the second day. Gonna miss the little dude!
Having a very chill weekend. I'm sipping a cup of coffee, working on my Ancestry family tree, and watching Nate and Jeremiah By Design. I *so* want them to redesign my home. Their concepts and color schemes are so beautiful. I *love* this kitchen.
My wife and I took our daughter (20 months) to “Pretend City”— a place where toddlers and kids can go and play make believe as a bunch of different professions like a doctor or a grocery store worker (they have a mini scaled down Trader Joe’s with fake kids sized everything) and they also have a room with musical instruments and a small stage for kids to play on. While we were in the music room, they invited all the kids onto the stage to dance and they got up there and started dancing to some swing/jazz music. My daughter was doing this goofy little jump/stomp thing while waving her arms with the biggest smile on her face and was scream-laughing. She was having the best time and was so happy. My eyes started to well up and was on the edge of bawling from happiness, love, and being so proud of her— she was brave standing up there with all the other kids, she was front and center, and she was happy. I’ll never forget today.

Those are unforgettable moments, lifetime memories. You're a good dad.

What!? That sounds awesome. I would have flipped out to go there as a kid. Kudos on the kiddoing. Not every kid needs to be a leader, but no parent gets mad when they are.
I just stumbled across Paul Reiser's Instagram, and it's highly entertaining, even though it's all from last year. He did live vids of random conversations with fans and it's just oh so delightful. There aren't a ton of them but they're fun regardless. https://www.instagram.com/paulreiserofficial/
Just watched the trailer for A Beautiful Day In The Neighborhood (thank you @Chinaski) and it gave me an amazing feeling I'll hold on to all day! Today I will be nice to everyone.
Iced mocha, a full day at the Monterey Bay Aquarium with my nieces, now at Pizza My Heart with two happy teenagers & a great view of the A’s/Rangers game on the tv here. It was a good day.
