DancesWithWookies nice commission. I enjoyed the podcast. I never saw the movie but the podcast has peaked my interest. Going to check it out this weekend.
I love Back to the Future. Love it. As a child of the '80s, this was my movie.
That said, 15 minutes into the podcast, I can feel the J&A love and I think I got a bad draw. My 'cast for next week is a bad follow-up to an all-time classic BTTF.
@DrKen Glad you're sticking with it since we recorded the podcast this afternoon. You might be surprised at how good or bad of a draw it turned out to be...

I'm sticking with it, though, it's a great movie.
I was just poking around looking for something to listen to while I clean out our three season porch... BTTF!?! Epic!!! ❤️
I'm heading to Palm Springs next month and plan on spending the entire time gambling. The first thing I plan to do with my winnings is commission a podcast for my favorite movie of all time, Friday.
Or I might never make it out of there and this forum never hears from me again. Either way, it'll be a grand time.
To be honest, I've had many second thoughts on my choice. I wanted to do something a bit different. But I do love that movie. It has some themes I think could be interesting but it is not a "modern" film in terms of style.
I was close to Shawshank, Glengarry Glen Ross, or my true alternative, Wall Street. I'd love to hear that one from a couple of '90s kids.
I'm not a huge fan of either westerns or John Wayne, but The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance is a fantastic movie. I've seen it loads of times since I was a kid and I never tire of it. I'm really looking forward to hearing this podcast. (I also love the song, but that might put me in the Nickelback file...)

GLENGARRY GLEN ROSS! GLENGARRY GLEN ROSS!
On the commission list it looks like glengarry glen Ross is the last commission to be ordered so your in luck
A_Ron, I just commissioned my first podcast earlier this month, and got an e-mail today saying my order was complete and to e-mail the film I wanted to commission. I E-mailed the name of the film, and my thoughts on it on April 12th. Can you confirm that you got the E-mail?
This is my first podcast that I've commissioned (solo or Community), I'm not sure if I need to send you any further info or what.
Huge fan of the podcast, and looking forward to hearing your discussion of "Blood Simple" (the film I commissioned.)
Hey Sean! Just so you know, we added a commissioned queue so you can track your commission as it winds its way through the belly of the beast: http://baldmove.com/commissioned-podcasts/
Looks like we do indeed have you down for "Blood Simple." Thanks!
I just spoke with the commish for #2, and it's looking like Donnie Darko.
Loved Donnie Darko, really trippy. Might watch it again before listening to your podcast.
If Clerks doesn't make it here though, i feel like it definitely has to be commissioned at some point... Or am I actually wrong in this assumption? It doesn't have much plot so that might result in a short podcast... But somehow I'm thinking the Bald Move treatment would be great for this kind of movie with awesome dialog.

Clerks is awesome! It's no MallRats, but awesome nonetheless!!
How does a Lost commission work? That show absolutely cannot be summed up entirely without watching it all, and I can't imagine J & A rewatching 120 episodes... Love that show; one of my favorite ever, but I can already hear A. Ron's eyes rolling back

Next up - Casino Royale. I'm on the 1 commission per year subscription plan.
