    Me too. Loved it.

Care to add Spoilers to the thread title? Something in this season had me questioning something and I'd like to thow it out for clarification but don't want to open whole new thread.

    EDIT: Thanks

  • When watching this season something made me confused.

They confronted and cornered the dirty FBI agent and him and his partner share a nod before she kills him. At the time I thought she was in on it. Then nothing else happened on that storyline.

So does that mean that simple nod was him saying to his partner "Yes, I did it. Sorry. Could you do me a solid and kill me so I don't have to got to jail? Thanks." Well that is a huge load to put on a simple half nod.

Or was my initial impression correct and it will be addressed in next season?

I am hoping it is the former. When this season trailer came out and heard dirty bomb I was worried they ran out of ideas and were heading towards 24 territory. I was greatly impressed how they took that storyline and turned it on it's head.

The show is so great. There is a part of me that wishes this was the old network days and we'd have 28 episode seasons but I know that this show wouldn't even have existed then and even if it did it would have been rewritten to crap.

  • Love this show and wish more people were watching it! Hard to root for Marlow Stanton from the Wire as J. Edgar at first. Big fan of the book series also and how they mash up a few books a season.

@CapeGabe I took the nod more of an acknowledgement of guilt and almost permission for her pulling the trigger. I would be very surprised if she were dirty also - almost seemed a potential love interest for Bosch. But this would be one of the only self-contained seasons with really nothing carrying over until next season.

In this day and age, pretty dumb for an FBI agent to text his accomplice's real phone number that's known to law enforcement.  Especially someone who's supposedly paranoid.

This season got a lot better after the whole Feds/Cesium thing became very secondary.

For book readers, is this what Irving becomes in the books?  I've read the first three and he's a total political wanker gunning for Bosch as far as I remember.

EDIT:  Also, moving the bomb instead of getting out of the courtroom seems like a totally terrible idea.  I don't think Bosch always needs to be quite so heroically hypercompetent all the time.

My wife and I had the same thought. It made me suspicious of all her actions for some reason (Reese, not my wife...). but we couldn't tell if it was more of a, "don't do it bro.... plz" kind of look and he did the, "Sorry, gotta" look. I trade these looks with my golden retriever all the time.

We finished the season last night and miss it already but this nod left us feeling it could come back in the future too....

I've watched it all but it's still in my watchlist so every time I fire up Prime I get a little excited thinking there's new episodes.
