The instant talk this week has about a 96.3% chance of being completely fucked up. If there's no video, feel free to still ask questions because there should still be a podcast answering them. Delayed gratification on the instant talk...

Well I absolutely loved everything up until the very end (after credits). That made me go F U alllllllllll since this technically would have been the perfect FU to William.
God damn. I just wish more of the awesomeness of the last 3 episodes had been building up in the earlier episodes... There was too much cryptic stalling for time. In season 1 it wasn't so blatant... This time I was enjoying the show but there wasn't enough of what was really going on underneath in the earlier episodes.
Anyway. Really really interested in what will happen next season. Holy fuck.
I was wondering why they never showed him after he went down the elevator.
Man, I really thought Maeve would make it out somehow. That's a bummer. Also, really curious what the hell is in the "new world" the hosts went to live inside. And what the rules for that world are...
I don't know about everyone else - and I'm a big fan of the puzzle box approach - but my experience tonight (including post-credits) went something like this:
Sooo, yeah. I am really looking forward to watching this 10 more times and listening to your pod because, despite the puzzle box luv, I'm kinda like wtf right now.
Or maaaaybe I just got too much sun this weekend..
Exactly. But either I have free will or I've been programmed not to let these writers get the last laugh on me again. It's not a bad show, it's just not my cup of tea. Never say never, but I don't intend to watch season 3. I liked season 1 though.

I'm pretty sure Felix and Selvester getting assigned to her "salvage" means she's still in the game.
What is season 3 even going to be? Why does Delores need to kill everyone? She's out of the park with her friend's brains and a friend making machine. Would be pretty easy to survive and make whatever choice she wants from now on without having to kill everyone. Trying to kill everyone is the biggest way to ensure she doesn't survive.
Also, the inconsistencies in this show still bother me to no end. Maeve is supposed to be the super god host, why did she not try and mind battle Clementine? And then she's killed by getting shot in the body when a couple scenes earlier Delores was shot multiple times through the body and wasn't phased in the slightest.

Good point.
She also looked, different, when she was dead. Like she was decomposing or something even though the hosts don't do that.
So the whole beach loop timeline is completely fucked, right? I think it was confirmed there's no shutter island loop with Bernard, yet Hale/Dolores is leaving when they presumably find Bernard (again?), after they killed Strand?
Am I just dumb and this is explained somehow? Edit: Yes, I am.
Stubbs being a host pisses me off, honestly. Why have any real people? I thought one of the points of the show was to compare and contrast the differences/similarities between hosts and guests. Now everyone is a host. Now I'm a host. The quadruple twist!
I don't quite get how Stubbs knew Hale was a host; is it just because she told him to go look for the survivors and he knew the real Hale would never do that? And then saw her leaving when the real Hale wouldn't?

At least there was that one part that got me to sing Moana's "How Far I'll Go."
Jesus Christ this show.
Also, I'm totally okay with Hopkins leaving this show by "Meet me in Montauk"ing Bernard.

Death doesn't happen in this show.
