Super Smash Bros Ultimate and Nintendo Switch

So after watching this I am seriously debating getting a Nintendo Switch! Nostalgia kicked in last year and I bought a Gamecube since I used to love playing Super Smash Bros, Mario Kart Double Dash, Skies of Arcadia Legends and so many more.
Anyone got a Switch and how do you like it?
Also, what is everyone's favorite Smash Bros character? I always loved playing as Samus! The new one has my inner 8 year old happy with characters like Duck Hunt, Kid Icarus and I had to laugh at the inclusion of the Wii Fit Trainer

The open world Mario game is cool. My wife played that a ton and I watched. And the MarioKart Deluxe racing game was great. One of the biggest appeals to Nintendo and the Switch are all of the indie artist games. It gets more than any other platform, and many of them are just beautiful to look at. I cannot wait for all of the games that they announced at E3 to come out this fall.
The downside to the system itself is that it doesn't have any streaming apps, like Netflix, Vudu and all of that. It does weirdly have Hulu, but that's it. They have said that they are trying to get the major companies to develop apps for the Switch platform.

My 4 year old daughter saw the Pokemon: Let's Go announcement and really seems to want that. I assume it's mostly because of the pokeball controller you get to use.
If you enjoy big title ports, Switch does have lots of ports like the Dark Souls remastered, Doom, Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus, etc. There are a bunch of other big ports coming soon.
As far as Smash characters, I've always been a Link guy, but I really liked Pac Man in SSB4.
