fantasy football advice
I got into fantasy football last year and the one league that I run I decided that I was going to let the winner of the league pick what position they want to draft in the following year, the 2nd place person gets the 2nd choice of where they draft and so on and so forth. Well last year I actually did really well and took 2nd place so now I'm in the debate of where should I place myself in the draft order. Any opinions on what you would choose and why would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

My thought process is going 3rd if Zeke holds out and 4th if Zeke doesn't hold out. I think I want one of the top running backs (barkley, kamara, mccaffrey, elliott) and I personally don't think David Johnson is in the same category as those 4.
I'd go with 3 RB's in the first 5 rounds, but that is because how often they touch the ball. I wouldn't even touch a QB or TE before you fill your 3 rb, 3 wr and flex spots, but that is me.
Here's my other mental note, most leagues are a 12 man league with the standard roster (1QB, 2RB, 2WR, 1TE, 1FLEX, 1D/ST), our league is an 8 team league with that except 1 extra RB and WR which equals out to be the same exact number of starters of WR and RB as a standard 12 team league (24RBs and 24WRs).
Some unknown or rookie WR always breaks out during the season and it's always important to have a lot of stud RB's IMO.
On an update with my specific league, I had 2 more people reach out to join my league so now I'm sitting at a 10 team league. I still think I'm going to try and snag the number 3 pick if Zeke really does hold out and the number 4 pick if he announces he's playing before my draft.
If you go standard 10 team standard roster you get 60 starting players at QB, RB, WR, and TE.
76 at 12 teams.
so I would aim to keep the overall starters to around that 60-80. Anything more than that and guys are gonna have to start hoping for injuries. Just break it out from there.
1. Was Julio’s last year an aberration or things to come
2. Is hill going to get suspended
3. Can juju managed be wr1 and take on the best CB on the other team
Tyreek has huge upside but he doesn't get the ball that often. Will he be able to convert those 5 or 6 balls he catches into 100+ yards and touchdowns consistently? Last year he had a 7 weeks in which he hit double digit fantasy points (I'm not counting week 17 because if you're smart fantasy football ends before then) which means 8 weeks he had single digit fantasy points. (https://fantasydata.com/nfl/tyreek-hill-fantasy/18082) That's too inconsistent for my liking but when he went off he was getting crazy high point totals, he got 25+ points 5 times last year.
Juju is a huge question mark. Nobody knows how he will do taking the number one cornerbacks and possibly being double covered. There's too much uncertainty for me to be happy taking him at this point in the draft where all 3 of these guys are available.
I'm not sure how I feel about Julio. He's clearly a top tier wideout but last year he was very inconsistent and really never had huge games. I feel like one of these years they are going to realize that he's a threat in the redzone just as much as he is in the open field and his numbers will skyrocket but it just never happens. Julio only scored 20+ once last year but was more consistently in the double digit point range (https://fantasydata.com/nfl/julio-jones-fantasy/13291)
Personally I'd take Tyreek Hill because his upside when he goes off is crazy. He's going to have some dud games but hopefully the rest of the fantasy team can pick up the slack.
Ive soured on Julio. Especially with Ridley and the fact that Freeman should be healthy.
So back to my original suggestion. I’d go Hill. He might have some bad games but in non PPR he’s your best chance given he went almost 1500 yards on only 87 catches last year.
He’s the safest bet.
2QBs = 12
3RBs = 18
3WRs = 18
2TEs = 12
2flex = 12
72 starters
