Apple TV+ service launching Nov. 1 for $4.99/family subscription (1yr free with purchase)

Very surprised to see Apple setting such a competitive price and offer (1 year of service free with any Apple product purchase). One could argue this is because they do not have the clout in the space to guarantee quality content but just going by the few trailers for The Morning Show, See, and For All Of Mankind as well as the reported "higher $$ than GoT per episode" for all these shows, I have a hard time believing there be at least one gem.

Apple didn't provide breakdowns last quarter when they had a guidance miss. So they're motivated to keep building services.Yeah I got an email offer for $160 for 3 years. No kids, so I'm thinking about it.
