    While this show is only getting better, the music is only getting worse. 
    Actively taking me out of the immersion I find myself in. 
    Strong dislike 

    Other than that, it really seems like this show did the biggest turn around I've ever seen. 
    From Season 1 which I hated to now. 
    I realized why last night, while season 1 was only about depression, and the irony we find sometimes in that, the last two have had absolutely great comedy blended in.

    Didn't really connect with this episode. It was kind of all over the place and was more bizarre than anything else. The trampoline scene was weird and for the first time I think ever, I really didn't like the music that was played throughout the episode.(I did enjoy the beginning credit music though) I felt the reveal of Kevin Sr was predictable at the end and it reminded me of the reveal of Gus in Better Call Saul. We're we supposed to be surprised when Kevin sr revealed himself through the shadows after you've been showing him and all the trailers leading up to this season? I still have total faith in this Show and season but this episode just didn't do it for me.

    Ok, I was expecting a Perfect Strangers reference, but I was in no way prepared for what I got. The opening credits had me actually laughing, and Nora having Lilly not know who she was had me actually crying. This show continues to surprise me.

    I was not ready for the Perfect Strangers theme song in the opener, and certainly not for Mark Linn-Baker playing himself in this universe.

    The Wu-Tang trampoline party was really bizarre. I wouldn't say that it doesnt fit im this show, although I'm not sure about it's narrative purpose since we already understood these two women are grieving the loss of their daughters together. But at least we've now solved the mystery of Erica and Lily's absence.

    This show is brilliant. No other way to put it. Knowing its going to end and that we'll never get something exactly like it again is sad to me.

    Awwww yeah Wu-Tang again and again!!!! Didn't have any issues with the music choices,m this episode and thought they all fit. Was sad and interesting learning about why she got the symbol on her arm. Carrie and Regina really shine when they share a scene.

    Really enjoyed this epsidoe. Thought there was some comedy, drama and suspense. We find out what happened to Lilly (which people were asking about). The malfunctioning touchscreens all around Nora (ominous or just bad luck). The women looking for Kevin, but they found the wrong Kevin. For me personally this season has started off strong.

    Also, the timeline on the Australia scenes is messing with me. The lady speaking to asshole Sheriff Kevin was quoting scripture from the Book of Kevin about the story when he jumped into the lake to drown himself in front of the teenage girls. That indicates that there are either more than 1 copy of the Book of Kevin, or they're in a flash forward to Australia with Nora. Although I would suspect Kevins dad would look older based on Nora's aging up in her flash forward scene. I would also have assumed that the women could have just asked their friend Kevin Garvey Sr. if that sheriff was his son. Really strange. 

    Perhaps there is something to this alternate universe thing where the 2% were sent to, although if I were a customer I would need some hard evidence showing how that company has confirmed that their customers are really going to this other place rather than just being incinerated.

    Do they have someone who is being transported back and forth to this alternate world, which confirms that it works; or are they just going on pseudoscience and blind faith that they aren't just sending people to their instantaneous doom? If no one has ever disappeared and then come back using the same device on the other side, then there's no proof.

    @All the Chickens faith is a powerful thing (this show has proven that over and over). This on top of people's want to "know". Most of these people are so emotionally damaged that really to them, if they die, they die, if the "go" that much better. Trying to place yourself in that frame of mind is going to be difficult to say what one would do. It's like saying if someone tried to rob me at gun point, I'd shoot them. Saying is MUCH different from doing and being in that situation.

    I'm pretty sure the Australian scene in this episode was in present day, because in the news cast they were talking about the 7 year anniversary coming up.  So I am also having trouble understanding how those ladies could have read the Book of Kevin by that time.  Maybe Michael was posting it online when he shut the laptop?  Maybe technically Matt doesn't consider that "a copy".

    A Nora-centric episode with another great scene of her and Erika -- what more could I ask for? It was beautifully shot, too. The closeups of her in the hotel room with the abstracted, colorful city lights had a Wong Kar-wai feel to them, which is entirely appropriate as his themes are often about heartbreak, yearning, and regret. I ugly cried during the scene with Tom and Nora because orphan/adoption stories break me. When he said that he didn't leave Lily for Nora, he left her for Kevin -- it said so much about how much Tom thinks of Kevin, but it broke me because it implied to Nora that she is not meant to have children.

    @All the Chickens  I took the trampoline party to an example of Erika's coping mechanism. It made Nora feel elated in the moment, but the feeling was fleeting, and her situation is different anyway because she has no one to bury. Perhaps Erika gave her a Wu-Tang CD to acquaint her with the namesake of her tattoo, because Nora was playing it when Tom pulled her over.

    This episode's writing credits read "Tha Lonely Donkey Kong & Specialist Contagious," which I assume are Damon & Perotta's Wu-Tang names. Mine is Shaolin Huntress. What's yours?

    When he took her phone and tossed it in the toilet, her reaction was just "sigh..." seriously??

    All just so he could say the line "all that matters is up there in the cloud, right."

    Very clunky.

    If people are having problems with how wacky and crazy this is getting now, we have 8 episodes to go and this is Linedeloff we are talking about. Hell they had the Perfect Stranfers theme play at the beginning even though that reference probably hit with like 1/10 people and the song is awful imo.

    I wouldn't be surprised if this whole show didn't end with Kevin and Nora approaching a church and passing Ben from lost sitting on the same bench he stayed at in the Lost finale.

    However I'm still on board, I have to say I felt just like Nora did in this episode. I kept asking myself am I going crazy? Talk about Pathos.

    Just when I thought this show couldn't get any better, they give us Mark Linn-Baker wanting to Depart to join his co-stars, the Perfect Strangers opening theme, a trampoline scene scored to the Wu-Tang Band Clan, and Lindelof and Perrotta's Wu-Tang names (pretty sure this is the generator they actually used: http://www.mess.be/inickgenwuname.php - I'm Gentlemen Professional myself). They 100% commit to every insane idea that they come up with and it's amazing.

    I don't know if there has been a better blend of emotions in a show then when Nora was talking about removing her kids tattoo by getting a wu-tang tattoo. It was sad, dramatic, suspenseful, funny all wrapped into one. I can't say enough about this show.

    After Nora had her problems with touchscreen and the parking gate, I thought it was related to her problem with the electronic door sensor at the convenience store.  I then remembered that the door sensor happened to her character in Fargo last week.  Is that purely a coincidence?  Has to be.

    Did anyone else have that crossover reaction when watching?
