Battlestar Galactica Commission
Just wanted to see what level of interest there is in finally buying out the BSG Commisioned Podcast? I have bought a few shares and would like to get this one on the schedule as I love the show (just rewatched the whole series)!!! The pilot movie would be a good one to do or maybe the first couple of episodes in Season 3 on New Caprica. Thoughts?

Then again I'm still really pissed about how Lost ended so hearing Jim and A.Ron shit on the show might be pretty entertaining.
About 33 minutes, it is implied that they take shifts, at least Adama and Tey, I assume the pilots do the same. They have more pilots than vipers in the air that episode. Soldiers in war are supposed to get sleep whenever they find it, it would still be tight and wear them down but I don't think it's that implausible since you only need to calculate the next jump and hold off the Ceylons long enough, the first few days probably without much direct contact It gets only closer when single ships of the civilian fleet start to break down.
The olympic carrier could have been handled better I agree, either show some people or don't get that close at all and if they detect some radiation it should be ambiguous if it's nukes or a leak in the engine.
Obviously the above is all opinion. Not trying to say you're wrong for wanting a BSG podcast. Just explaining why I wouldn't.
And I think, I like the discussion about Boomer and if she was created as an adult cylon, she would had to have been planted as a child or switched with somebody who looked similar as an adult, I can't imagine a military organization in a society as advanced as the colonies commissioning her as an officer and training her to be a pilot and hold a security clearance without a background investigation, like in the US Air Force they will check your school records, call your friends, relatives, check for criminal history, etc so I can't see how they would just create a black adult cylon and send her to the recruiters office because even if they faked documents a simple phone call to verify them would blow the cover.
Appreciate the effort though guys. Peace
Kara Thrace was definitely NOT a Cylon IMO.
I believe that when Starbuck went literally all in in maelstrom she died and one of those beeings decided to incarnate without (conscious) memories in the flesh to set the new civilisation on the right path. Because of that I was ok with her departure.
I want to second to listen to the commentary track, especially the maelstrom episode with leoben.
The score I still listen to till this day, shape of things to come is one of my all time favourites.
My favourite character is Baltar, I loved his last scene with six where he came full circle in an amazing scene.
P.S:
Aaron complained that Boomer shot Adama as a cliffhanger so he didn't continue to watch. It is made clear later in the series that she as well as other cylons are (unconsciously) conflicted because of their individual experiences in human societies which leads to a schism in the Cylon society later.
