  • If you could rewatch a movie/TV show for the 1st time again

Season 1 Game of Thrones. I couldn't believe episode one ended with a child being pushed out a window! I was hooked. Then Ned on the steps of Baelor blew my away - the hero doesn't die without destroying the enemy first. I had read the books by the following seasons but I wish I could re-experience all the shocks from that first season.

  • Walking Dead - 701: "The Day Will Come When You Won't Be"

From reading the comments, it seems that many people were coming into the episode too pissed off to be content with the premier. Once you're that angry at a show, every minor thing will become a major annoyance and vice versa - if you're feeling charitable towards the show you will be mostly content,

I almost went negative when the 'big reveal' took 20 minutes to come - not to mention alllllll the commercials - but I shut that down and watched the show I was given.  Over the intervening months, I was not longer ticked-off at the show, gave it very little thought over the summer.

I think this was a great episode - It was the transition of Rick; the complete subjugation of Rick. Andrew Lincoln gave an amazing portrayal of a man that went from defiant to broken, and I was affected.

When Abraham died, I felt "Oh! That's who it was? ok" ; then when Glenn got it, I was shocked and horrified. By the time Negan was forcing Rick to cut off Carl's hand, I was on the edge of my seat.

I felt fairly certain I knew roughly what was going happen, based on the comics but this episode managed to shock, surprise, and keep me wondering what would happen. I was entertained and made to feel something - more than I have gotten from many other episodes so I will enthusiastically take it!
  • We Need Your Help -- Video

    Hey guys,
I glad you made your goal. I sent in a donation and hope it helps a little,

I have been a member for a while now at the $12 month level. It seemed easy to jump in because the "buck a month" made me feel like it was very little to me but adding my $1 to dollars of other people was making it possible for you guys to make quality product.

This next part is hard for me. My $20 USD donation cost me $28 CAD in conversion and I wouldn't have thought twice if the price doubled or tripled but the jump to $48 per year would be quite tough for me - that's $79 CAD$, It will be a serious decision whether or not I can continue as a member.

I admire what you guys did going on your own and I have enjoyed feeling like a part of your success with my (albeit) small contribution. If I can continue, it will be because of the relationship you have cultivated with your members over the years. I am afraid new listeners might not be as willing to jump on at such an increased price?

You have really worked the numbers, so if anyone can make it work, it's you. I hope I am able to remain part of the membership community in the future.
