I’m in the 50% camp that loved this movie. I love it more with every viewing. I can really sit back and appreciate what the movie is trying to be. Ambitious, bold, creative. Reminds me of a lot of Christopher Nolan Movies. Some of the deleted scenes are unfortunately missing Which helps a little but nevertheless, if you didn’t want something new mixed in the Star Wars lore I don’t think you will ever appreciate this movie.
On another note I don’t think this story end on episode 9.
Personally, I thought besides Elliot's psychological issues the show was very grounded. Jim even said that a couple podcasts ago. Although he admitted hints of other possibilities he seemed to think this was a grounded show. Now it seems Aron and the Internet have looked way too far between the lines and are disappointed. I've only listened to a few minutes of last podcast and sorry to hear their reactions. I went and listened to "the watch" with Sam esmail and it helps explain a lot of the seasons direction.
I really liked the season. I didn't mind that the plot moved slowly and paused at times. I appreciate a different approach to film making.
Very excited for season 3!
Ok nevermind. I kept listening but isn’t the scientist in the same facility whiterose is in?
