  • bizmarkiefader said: I haven't watched this show in 12 years, do the therapy scenes hold up? They bored me watching it when I was 18 but I was a stupid little shit. I remember a lot of complaining about them in general during the shows run, d…
  • calebthrower said: I loved the episode and The Mandalorian is the most fun I've had watching a show since The New Pope. It can be cheesy and dumb but everything about it puts a smile on my face. However.... I am a bit worried that F&F a…
  • Hatorian said: Fucking legendary. They could end the series now and I’d be happy and satisfied.  Though I don’t want it to end, I felt like that could easily be a series finale. Everything except the Dark Saber stuff wrapped up nicely.
  • @cdrive loved S1 of Cobra Kai. Got disillusioned early on in S2, but will probably go back to it.  Finally finished S1 of The Great on Hulu!! It far exceeded my expectations, and I was way more invested than I thought I’d be. Huzzah!!
  • Not reading the posts above for spoiler reasons, but I am actually enjoying S1. Just got past the time loop episode, and despite it being a trope, I still enjoyed it. Looking forward to catching up, so long as I don’t need All-Access.
  • Was S1 and done. I tried to get into S2, but didn’t feel the same connection to the plot.
  • Have watched E1. I can see why people like it, but not sure there is enough hook for me. I have read great reviews here and elsewhere, so I may keep watching.
  • Sorry if this has been covered elsewhere, but does Gina Carano and the conversation about her political beliefs affect your experience of the show? I’m not trying to debate her specific opinions, but I do find myself distracted from her performance.
  • Roots. Bought the series. From the opening, it is brutal. Sure. It is Littlw House on the Prairie production quality. But it is great and brutal. I believe there is a 2016 version that I haven’t seen, but it is a gut-wrenching thing to watch. i wil…
  • So...I feel like this type of story has been a common reoccurrence. Last episode of Mad Men...what would be the point if Don wasn’t the one... Last episode of Watchmen, what would be the point if Angela didn’t become... so what would be the point o…
  • I'm in love with Devs. Was skeptical on the first two episodes. It was interesting, but very mellow and deliberate. I became intrigued with Ep 3 and 4 and would like to know more about the potential of what they are working on. On ep 6 now, and am t…

  • Someone hacked my iTunes library and deposited more than one Glee soundtrack in there. I can't say I'm horrified by it, but I have more Moby than I care to acknowledge. I also had a Hootie album that I could not give away 20 years ago, but I tossed…
  • Giovanni said: I love this series. My enjoyment of basketball began with the 90s Knicks. Those Bull's teams tormented me just about every year. Watching some of those highlights opens up old wounds, god damn you Charles Smith. Seeing Ewing al…
  • I hate arbitrary rules, so I didn't limit my list to 10..I went in chronological order that I heard the albums, but the ones in bold are top 10.  I omitted Greatest Hits / complications / soundtracks. There is also a lot of "classic" rock music that…
  • Saw episode 7 last night, and it was awesome. Took on the "suspension" rumor full-on, and yes, it still sounds crazy.  BTW, it's worth it to watch the version with mature language. Love hearing Jordan curse.
  • @Dee, Yes that is there. And it is just hokey, in some places. Like its an after school special. But there are some great moments. If it’s the standard 24 episodes a season, I can’t say I will binge the whole thing. I’m just going to hit the good on…
  • Quantum Leap and BSG on NBC streaming, for no good reason. I've seen Battlestar before, but started listening to the Battllestar Galticast, which triggered a rewatch. I watched some of Quantum Leap during the original run with my mom, and got nostal…
  • FWIW, I liked this season's coverage with Jim and Alexis. The on-air chemistry was great, and it is honestly just more enjoyable when someone is into the show.
  • Three is one of the best seasons. W/o knowing the Dan Harmon backstory, I started noticed the changs in Season 4. I almost quit. 4 and 5 were slogs IMO. The writing may have gotten marginally better, but the shift in cast and production quality took…
  • My wife got me a wood pellet smoker / grill as an early birthday / quarantine gift. It’s great esp bc I don’t have to worry about going anywhere during a 6+ hour smoke. Everything had come out better than I hoped. Burgers, chorizo, beef ribs, and be…
  • Dee said: God, I’m old. The first thing I think of every time I see him is Lenny.  That’s what kept throwing me. The face is the same, but I always think of Lenny as tall. I have this image of Chuck as a shorter, plump dude.
  • Wife gave birth to a baby girl last night. Everyone is safe and resting!
  • I watched it. Was a bit slow, but that’s Simon. It’s only 6 episodes so I will keep going. He’s earned my trust.
  • redlancer said: Not too worried. CDC says just this current flu season alone there have been up to 18million cases and up to 17,000 deaths. This new virus has resulted in, what, 6 or so confirmed fatalities?  Just the current Disease-of-the-…
  • TWD, Orphan Black, High Castle are the main ones. The last two, I just lost the plot and stopped caring. Always Sunny...loved S1, but I’m probably one of the few people that didn’t love Devito (S2). I stopped Community in the homestretch of S6, but …
