  • If you're looking at the Northwest, I suggest a camping trip. There are so many amazing ecosystems around here, and they're all relatively close to one another. You can rent a car (or camper van) and see so many amazing things in Washington and Oreg…

  • Rad! I hope you have a great time while you're here.  If you want to go to LoveCraft, it is literally walking distance from the Bremerton ferry. So you catch the Bremerton ferry in downtown Seattle, ride the boat, and then walk like 3 blocks to the…

  • Slaughterhouse Five is so good.  I read it over a East to West coast flight a few years back, and couldn't get over how amazing it was.  I really need to make time for some more Vonnegut in my life.  What would you recommend for the next book I read…
  • Wow, between this and Noah Hawley's Cat's Cradle, my headcannon "Vonnegut trilogy" is almost complete.  Now we just need the Villigang to do a Slaughterhouse Five series.
  • I agree. I was anticipating more of a two-sided story between Goggins and McBride. I was also hoping it would be more of an allegory of authoritarian vs. populist government, but instead we're getting Kenny Powers - socially conservative edition.  S…

  • Yeah I agree...it's a fantastic show that seems to fly somewhat under the radar which is weird considering how popular it is with viewers and critics. One of my favorites for sure..
  • Even with some of the flaws that have been pointed out....I'm still enjoying this show. I don't really care about these characters yet...but I'm willing to give that a few more episodes before I write them off. I am really enjoying the tension build…
  • Like everyone said, Carol's shtick is pure genius. I didn't even connect why she fumbled with the gun earlier until we got to her interview. She is THINKING on her feet! My first reaction to her fumbling was that she was still hurting from getting h…
  • Not sure yet how I feel about the episode...my initial impression was that it was okay, but I'm not sure how much of that is just relief that story is moving off of aimlessly wandering the road in a dehydrated stupor and into a new setting. Going to…
  • ahem... Can't believe nobody mentioned the original Dr. Who theme. As a music producer and synthesizer geek, it holds extra significance to me because it's historic. It was produced before the advent of synthesizers and was done entirely by cuttin…
  • It looks like I have every episode from seasons 1-3 of The Night's Watch...not sure the best way to share them and/or the legality? If someone can fill me in on that I wouldn't mind doing it.. @A_Ron_Hubbard .. a re-watch cast of the first three sea…
