No one seems to have remarked on the extreme bodily autonomy of Abar needing to give her consent to have her stomach pumped when everyone knows she took an OD. And then she probably ends up on dialysis with Lady Trieu, somehow.
The graphic novel was a mystery as well, but I think the characterization was much stronger. By this point we had a lot of insight into at least Rorschach and Dan Dreiberg, and probably others I am forgetting.
Dan, Nite Owl, was big into the history of masks and was the one hanging out with Hollis Mason going over the old times. He could easily be friends with Hooded Justice after being turned onto him through Hollis or other means.
