Great podcast. Kudos to bringing your son on at the end, A. Ron. Kid's got a knack for podcasting; wouldn't be surprised if he's making a buck at it before too long. Either way, I don't see three hundred and seventy six lawn jobs in his future. This is what I came here to say. I loved hearing his perspective of the movie, and it was wonderful to hear how he internalized the movie the same way we did decades ago.'Let's get back on topic here.' lolAlso, earlier on in the podcast, you said that these kind of experiences are harder to have in a big city. Growing up in Spanish Harlem, we made it work. Imagination goes such a long way. Thinking back, we made good with what we had.I think it's a real testament to the creativity of children. We didn't have large fields to explore (even though Central Park was literally a 5 minute walk away) but we did have flooded bodega basements (this is my personal favorite expedition) and abandoned lots that we needed to discover and map out. On the surface, it looks different, but in our heads we were the Goonies.Great podcast guys and thanks to @FernNYC17 for making it happen. Makes me want to go back and watch again. Also, where can I cop that 'mildly scary' tee?
