  • Background listening? (lofi chillhop beats etc.)

I've recently become a big fan of "lofi Chillhop Beats to Study/Relax to" (or something like that, lots of streams on youtube) as background music while working.

In the Harmontown thread I brought up how I've found random episodes of harmontown to be good background listening, to which @JaimieT brought up "The Social Network" soundtrack as another good source of ambient chat/music/noise

What's your favorite background listening source? Springing off "The Social Network" soundtrack I've been checking out "Ex Machina" and "Annihilation" soundtracks, which are both ok.

So I'm way late to the discussion here, but a few points:

    - The GOP supports the greatest Conman and National Shame of our era, and likewise bolsters the bygone patriarchal era of good-ol-boy predators who thought the world was their oyster, and plumbed it as such, The GOP supports the greatest Conman and National Shame of our era, and likewise bolsters the bygone patriarchal era of good-ol-boy predators who thought the world was their oyster, and plumbed it as such, The GOP supports the greatest Conman and National Shame of our era, and likewise bolsters the bygone patriarchal era of good-ol-boy predators who thought the world was their oyster, and plumbed it as such,
    - Lindsey Graham is an utter animal of Trump, and is shedding any scrap of dignity he might have had in the pursuit of power, and avoidance of getting primaried in 2020
    - EVEN IF Kavanaugh actually wasn't/isn't a blackout drunk with a tendency to sexually assault women, his performance at the recent hearing should be enough to disqualify him from the SCOTUS. Fucking seriously people, we can do better.
    - It's not Flake that is the hero for insisting that the FBI have a "limited week-long investigation of current credible allegations," it's the women that cornered Flake in that elevator and forced him to face the outrage and grief that a Kavanaugh confirmation guarantees.

I think the implicit parallel Jackie draws between the blood mary, and "the blue" is interesting.

For once, Camille seems to be utterly uninterested in gulping down any booze at hand. My feeling here is that this is related to her dawning realization on the demise of her sister, and therefore has a source of action (confronting Adora).

However, Camille does drink when commanded to, which Jackie comments on. Something the lines of "you drink when you're told, and it gets easier."

I think we're led to believe that, much to Adora's frustration, Camille never submitted to Adora's poisonous administrations. However, Camille has been poisoning, and harming herself.

I'd kind of be disappointed if the finale had Camille subjecting herself to Adora (I'd like to see Adora and Alan go down in flames), but there is something of a thread there I think.
