@letrbuck2006 Yes, finally a Sansa/Sandor reunion! It was great, more than I thought the show was going to do at this point. I always held out hope that he would stay on at Winterfell as Sansa’s bodyguard or something.
I enjoyed the roller coaster of emotions in this episode. Jon has always been dumb but honorable, so none of his choices are surprising. Arya stating that she would not be back to Winterfell was strange, after reclaiming her identity as Arya Stark of Winterfell in the house of black and white, unless she’s rethinking turning down Gendry’s proposal. I want to root for Sansa, but I’m concerned by her immediate betrayal of Jon’s trust.
Speaking of the Hound, I was hoping we would get a little reunion scene with him and Sansa. I’m sure he’s glad she made it out of Kings Landing, as he did try to rescue her during the battle of the Blackwater and all. He’s got a secret soft spot for the Stark girls, which to me is part of his rough charm.
Wish I could stay up for the whole thing, but I have a preschooler and they don’t sleep in, EVER. Hubby was going to get up with him, but was just informed that his work screwed up some scheduling and now he has to get up at 4am tomorrow to deal with that, so I’ve got to head to bed at a reasonable hour. Now planning to get up early and watch a bit in the morning before things get going for the day. With you in night owl spirit!
My husband and both have low key hoarding tendencies, probably from growing up in financially insecure households, as someone above mentioned. We are constantly saying we need to dejunk, but never do. After hearing all the buzz I watched the first episode, and have been on a tear for two weeks now. So far we have packed up 6 garbage bags of things to donate, just working on it one drawer or closet shelf at a time.
As for the folding, I love it. I feel genuinely happy when I open my underwear drawer now and see those adorable little fabrics packets.
