Is Westworld all it could be?

209 - Vanishing Point
Anyone feeling badly for MIB? He really got taken to the woodshed this episode.
Is he really that bad of a guy in the real world? He seemed like a charitable dude and although they have a troubled relationship, he is supportive of his alcoholic wife and his daughter loved him at least up until a few months ago. His atrocities at the park are disgusting but all within "the rules" of the Westworld experience...and if he is truly so paranoid and delusional, wouldn't it be good to get him the help he needs? -

Also that episode of Lost you mention was trash, pretty much universally derided. This was not. I'd put it more on par with "The Constant." Not quite that good (as the Constant may be one of the best tv episodes ever), but similar in that it told a really compelling love story while all also exploring the themes and ideas that make Westworld interesting.
I used Dances with Wolves as a reference point because it features great cinematography, acting AND Native Americans.
