I feel like I sat through 130 episodes of mediocre improv to have the Harmontown gods drop that gem on me from nowhere. And I wouldn't have appreciated it as much without the suffering.

We got MC John in the same episode!
Dan's rapping is so bad, even after all these years.

I've pretty much stopped listening to the old episodes for now, and I'm listening to the new ones as they come out. So, Dan did the "Dadfished" episode, then an episode later throws a tantrum about people encouraging him to text his dad. What.

The reddit mob has made me believe I'm just coming to the end of the glory years of the podcast and the more recent ones aren't quite as good, so I go in order.
There's an episode (181?) where a maniac rushes the stage and punches a guest in the face. I gather that after this they pretty much stop having audience members come onstage, so there's that.

    Oh shit.

    But the first amendment...

I've seen them on both sides pretty equally. What they almost are is stay-at-home moms.
Oh, always stay at home mums in my experience, or else they own some dinky little artsy shop in a beachside suburb that they don’t have to make a profit on because their husband makes enough money that they can just waft around in their boho skirts selling local art to tourists every now and then. That’s the other thing, they’re always middle class hippie types too. In Australia, we have a pretty generous child care subsidy but it’s not payable if your child isn’t vaccinated. It has a pretty high income limit and it’s always those at the upper end of the cut off limit screaming about government interference in their parenting.

This description is wonderful, it needs to be an HBO miniseries.

Anywho, I'm getting my popcorn ready to see which category they put Black Panther in.
They'll put it in the popular category, which is separate, but, ummm, equal i guess.

I hope they put it in BP because I did find that movie to be more important and enlightening than entertaining.  :P
