Yeah I suppose, I’d still rather see that stuff than be told about it. I’m also a real sucker for political maneuvering and meetings, especially when it involves big time personalities that we haven’t seen together before talking about massively important shit.

See, I don't think we were told about much...

I think we'll get the details slowly, sort of like how you'd get them if you went linearly. And we'll simultaneously be getting new stuff.

So did the protomolecule on the Roci get into Holden's pot of coffee and now he's hallucinating Miller?

  • Last Movie You Saw & What Did you Think

I just watched The Room (2003) and The Disaster Artist (2017) back to back and, I have to say, I'm really beating myself up for missing out on this cultural touchstone for all these years.

The Room is "so bad it's good", but it's so much more than that. It's a mystery that you're trying to piece together as you watch. Questions such as, "What the hell is this scene even supposed to mean?" and "What is going inside Tommy Wiseau's head? Who is this guy?" are at the forefront of your mind as you inevitably tune out from the unwatchable drivel in front of you.

To top it all off, The Disaster Artist is an amazing companion piece to The Room. I feel that half of the joy of The Disaster Artist will be lost if you've not seen The Room. Almost every joke or critique my friends and I made of The Room was included in The Disaster Artist

I recommend everyone watch these movies at least once. It truly is surreal.

I haven't seen TDA, but the Room transcends categorization.

    Here's a funny RLM clip:

I love Rich's description of his favorite part and Jay getting felt up.

I can only hear Yanny, but I did hear Laurel once, when it was sped up a lot. This makes me feel great, because I've tried my whole life to protect my ears. (Not that it matters that much.)
Considering the clip is from “laurel” I wonder if that would change people’s minds ;)

Well I heard that the guy was saying Laurel originally, but of course that's not really what's being discussed. And maybe everything I read about "younger ears" hearing Yammy is FAKE NEWS.
