  • Has Bald move given up on prestige tv?

Yellowjackets was fun and made for a nice doubleheader with the Dexter miniseries.  I'm a little nostalgic for Cecily and A.Ron coverage because they would have been great on it.  However, that show turns into straight pulp.  The fact that Yellowjackets is being mentioned in a prestige thread is kind of indicative of the point I made -- things have been down.  There may be tons of "stuff" being scripted, but I can't really blame the guys for the lack of prestige coverage.  The big water cooler dramas just aren't out there at the moment.

  • Succession - HBO

Logan must have flown Tom to his HQ at the end, right? Because the kids spent the entire afternoon driving while Tom was at the wedding, yet somehow Tom arrives around the same time.  Maybe they're commenting on the power dynamics... the kids take a car and Tom "Free Man" Wambsgans gets a plane.

Corona cancelled two of my national gigs and a 4 state tour... but here's my 2020 goal.  I'm 75% there.  Thoughts?

@cdrive I never really liked fuzz pedals.  *runs*

@Byrdie It depends on what you're using it for.  When it comes to a classic klon push/boost, I think most klones are in the same ballpark at low gain and treble at 1:00.  As a boost, the Ryra isn't necessarily better than the rest.  Some are designed for higher gain usage (The Kingdom and Haun-Taun), the Tumnus has 3 band EQ, Ponyboy and others have toggles for different voicings... just depends on what you want.  The Ceriatone Centura is the best klone I've played and it's basically a DIY style PCB kit.  Worst-case scenario, go with whatever is prettiest. :D

@cdrive My board is persnickety with buffer placement, so all my Klones are TB.  Ryra and the Centura are awesome, but they're buffered only.  I eventually want to add a Tumnus Deluxe with switchable buffer like what @CretanBull has on his board.  For aesthetics, you can't beat the Han-Taun.
