  • How long before The Leftovers gets good?

Season 1 I was getting ready to blow it off because it was such a downer. The episode when the girl goes to the conference turned it around for me and I was 100 percent on board.

Last night I was thinking how Wes Anderson the start was. On second watch, I saw the name of the market was Rushmore.

My DVR cut the show short. I got to the part where Lou is tending to his father in law.

I thought this episode was good, a lot darker in tone and less humor than last week.

The UFO's had to show up sooner or later.

I love the thing about there being a Rapid City massacre.

    Peggy standing by her man.

Lou's old lady, that made me so sad.

I guess the kid knew that gramps was going to do what he did. When Kevin came I was wondering why the kid was so upset, I thought the worst. When the boy came back he seemed to unfazed by the scene in the house.

Another thing about UFOs is that after movies like Close Encounters and Star Wars there was a big aliens boom. I remember a TV show, like X Files where two Air Force officers went around investigating alien encounters and there was a movie based on the book called Chariots Of The Gods. There was a set of Time-Life books on the Ubexplained. So why not throw some af that into the show.

In the podcast the mention the UFO deal. That is based on a story from that area that happened to a cop. I heard about this from a Fargo podcast by NPR called Aw Jeez. It's pretty good.
