@A_Ron_Hubbard Why does the DaVinci Vitruvian Man take 3/4 of the body, while the Westworld body only gets 1/4? I'm not sure what that is meant to imply.
Related - That logo reminds me that HBO often recycles its character actors, and, that I had hoped that West World might bring back True Detective season one actress Alexandra Daddario.
Ah, thanks for that @GredalBee! I never could find a nice, whole, high resolution copy like that. That would have saved me a lot of clever scaling and cropping to make them seem like they blended in like that. I always wanted it to be 50/50, because of (what I assume) are going to be themes of what it is to be human. I also liked the idea of contrasting the man with what appears to be a synthetic human.
Originally I just wanted a pixelated western landscape scene, to pay homage to the "gunslinger's" weird heat vision from the original. But on completion, it looked plain, so I came up with the Vitruvian "Woman" to spice it up. The way I cropped DaVinci's original happily already rendered the sex of the figure ambiguous, with a masculine build offset the the feminized crotch region and ambiguously feminine features of the synth/robot.
Don't mind the artwork, but something about the name doesn't seem right, too similar to Watching Dead. But then again, I have nothing in mind to offer here.
It's kinda hard to read the white text on that busy background when you make it smaller. There's a lot of text to display in a tiny area though, does it look too cheesy if the text is outlined? Or another color outlined in white?
I was kinda hoping for a Go Westworld, Young Man title implying the androids' impending manifest destiny to one day become our overlords (whom I for one welcome, etc.).
Turns out Jim hates the font so I'm going to flip the psd files to him and let him comic sans it up or whatever. I'll pass the feedback on readability to him. I usually drop shadow or otherwise outline a white font but I thought this was good enough as is. Couldn't hurt.
For some reason "Watching Westworld" feels too plain for Bald Move. Watching Dead worked because you were simply shifting Walking into Watching; Breaking Good instead of Breaking Bad, etc.
I nominate "Wild Wild Westworld" or "Yeehaw! Westworld!" with A. Ron dressed up as a cowboy on one side of the Vitruvian Man and Jim dressed up as a cyborg cowboy on the other. Or better yet, a combination of Jim and A. Ron to make the Vitruvian Man (with Jim being the synthetic half of course).
Maybe a Bold Futura for the font, the sharp "W's" will accentuate the alliterative title, and provide a contrast with both the old west background as well as the vitruvian man. Also, it was recently used effectively in Civil War, so it may unconsciously trigger some dork dopamine, which will work to your advantage. A slightly larger font for the "W's" if using a different font, or capitalizing both in WestWorld should you not go with all caps would also be true to the original logo, and will call further attention to the centering of the second "W", alignment with the crotch, and its triangulation with the two riders. If you can part with a chunk of the sky up top, you could split the image and titling evenly between the cool blues and warm orange, and eliminate some of the unbalanced negative space up top, and if you change pixel size or scale that might be a beneficial byproduct. I was thinking that the pixelation could be increased to drive home the intentionality of its usage, which took me a moment to identify, and on a phone it may simply come off as a bad image. But I like the basic idea, and larger pixels would be a great contrast for a crisp font. One thing that jumped to mind, that admittedly is pretty cheesy, is having a T-100 robot skeleton as the right half which would add some pop culture to the stew you have going, but might come off as juvenile and/or infringe on some copyright. This is a solid base to work from though, and the only thing I might add is "podcast" somewhere to trigger title search terms if this is your proper title, like "a bald move podcast" for your branding. But this only needs some minor tweaks, so keep up the good work.

I PM'd you a leg. Let us know if that works.

You're welcome.

Hell, maybe simply "Watchworld"?
Brilliant.
