The Maze [Theory and Spoilers if not caught up]

I have read several Reddit theories that the Maze is a Turing test. Once the hosts become aware of the Maze they attempt to go to it. If they pass they get reset as a safety mechanism.

What if (and this may be an ongoing theory already) the Maze is in fact a Turing test ("The Maze is not for you" as El Lazo's daughter says to MiB) for the hosts. And when they make it past the maze, they are allowed to leave WW and join society?

At the start of the series Ford discusses evolution:

"We've managed to slip evolution's leash now, haven't we? We can cure any disease, keep even the weakest of us alive and one fine day perhaps we shall even resurrect the dead, call forth Lazarus from his cave. Do you know what that means? That means we are done, that this is as good as we're going to get."

The progression of the episodes is showing some hosts becoming self-aware, perhaps evolving. Could this be the final step before joining a real society?

Granted, Teddy and Dolores would have a difficult time adjusting to a modern society, but someone like Maeve wouldn't.
