So today I watched the 1st 2 episodes of the show, I really like this show a lot and csnt wait to see the rest of the potential. It's a nice short show and I csnt wait to get to the podcast in the final season
In the beginning there's a lot of political wheeling and dealing with a bunch of various characters, and it's not really clear who is who and how they relate to Nucky. I found it confusing. For me, it kicked off about halfway through the first season (on my second try at getting into it) once I began to realise who everyone was. (I had the same issue with Game of Thrones.)

Interesting I'm having similar issues but I'm enjoying the potential along with the story
I really love this show and I don't think it gets nearly the attention it deserves. It was always overshadowed by Game of Thrones, Mad Men, and Breaking Bad. It certainly has its slow moments, I loved its quiet nature and attention to detail. The series finale is incredibly haunting to me as well. I also had some issues with the political wheeling and dealing and character motivations at times. Not that any of it was unsubstantiated or out of character, I just had a hard time keeping track of the player's allegiances and such. A really great series!
