That's pretty surprising, with all his anti vax shit he might have a hard time finding another landing spot unless someone gets hurt early in the season.
Yea my guess is that once Belichick decided that he could trust Mac, he didn't want to deal the prospect of any more COVID nonsense with Cam the rest of the season.
You have to respect the shit out of it but I gotta say I'm not thrilled at the prospect of yet another year where Brady terminators his way through the league. It would be nice to have a season he isn't hanging over for the first time in my adult life. On the other hand it's rare to get to see a GOAT work in real time without even needing recency bias to think hes the GOAT.
Did they ever even fail to make the playoffs in a season where he started more than 1/2 the games?
I think they only missed 08 when he had that injury, they've been in the playoffs every other year. Looking at it this way I can see how Patriots fans got so annoying (other than being from Boston obviously)

Try living in Boston while liking 0 Boston sports teams lol.

heard some wild random stat today.. the Bucs are the first team to allow over 450 total yards, penalized for over 100 yards, a -3 TO differential, and STILL win!
Week One overreaction Jameis Winston looks like an MVP
Saints D destroyed GB, i loved it. which gave Jameis great field position through out the game, and he capitalized (didn't even throw for over 150 yds, yet had 5 TDs). meanwhile Rodgers looking like he smoked weed and played his new PS5 all summer.
That reminds me of what Jerry Glanville said one time after a getting beat and the locker room plumbing backed up. He said “We’re standing in urine, it’s appropriate.”
WTF was that, I switched to Redzone about halfway through the 4th and then suddenly the lions are down 8 with the ball. There were some red flags in that game for the Niners but since it was a blowout I was still feeling pretty good, not quite as much at the end.
I know this topic has been beaten to death, but after seeing it live, what on earth is the point of starting Dalton? The niners are doing the same thing with Jimmy but at least they know that Jimmy with this team can get them to the Super Bowl if things go well because he's done it. Are the Bears any better with Dalton even in the short term?
Man, what a way to end the week. Glad I didn’t have a rooting interest in that game.
Me neither - was just fun to see that unfold. I watched the end in the Manning feed, they had Russ Wilson on, was cool to see them all react to the craziness.
SO many injuries today. Gross. Tua, Wentz, Taylor, Dalton, Mayfield (he came back though), Did I miss ANY QB's? Sheesh. And the Texans might have won AGAIN if Taylor stays in.

and pretty much every Niner RB. that double hit to the head on Trey Sermon was scary. i was surprised he was able to walk away. talk about remembering your first carry of your NFL career.
Matt Nagy has a laminated play sheet with a bunch of plays on both sides. Yet he calls the same 3 to 4 plays the entire game. didn't help that the O line decided to take the day off. what a shit show.

Edit - Stafford looked great in the Rams offense.
2020 Bills= fluke
Stafford greatest QB in Rams History
Big Ben still got it
Aaron Rodgers is done
Sam Darnold has found a home
Washington D line is overrated
