    @Freddy Weird!

In Australia IOOF is an insurance company but  I guess that came out of this lot. I’m assuming they are like Freemasons but maybe not quite as shifty?

They have a less ominous name, that's for sure. That being said, I kind of hope IOOF becomes the new Flat Earth and people start getting all worked up over a conspiracy that definitely isn't true. Even better if it is. IOOF owns your blood, people! Look it up!

They insure you... AND THEN THEY KILL YOU.

(But first they steal your organs to sell on the black market.)

Who’s a TV character you’d like to hang out with?

I want to have wine night with Linda from Bob’s Burgers - she seems like she’d be so much fun.

Others I’d hang out with: the cul de sac crew from Cougar Town and Leslie and Ann from Parks and Rec.

Are there any millionaire tv characters who like to splash their money around on their friends?  If so, them.

@Chinaski He might be a bit much in real life, but I’d hang with Roy Kent and Keeley.

    Short answer?

But other than that:  Monica/Ross/Rachel/Phoebe/Chandler/Joey (Friends), Carrie/Samantha/Charlotte/Miranda (Sex and the City), Karen and Jack (Will and Grace), David (Schitt’s Creek).  All guaranteed fun & laughs.

On the other hand though, for obvi reasons - Don (Mad Men), Neal (White Collar), Sawyer (Lost), Smith (Sex and the City), Chris (Northern Exposure), Lenny (The Young Pope), Simon (Bridgerton, pictured above).

Have I got a friend for you!  He doesn't look anything like him, but my friend Jeremy IS 'Chris in the Morning'.  He's from a small rural town but lives in Toronto.  He has two degrees, one in philosophy and the other in cultural anthropology.  He doesn't smoke weed, but everyone always assumes that he's constantly stoned because he's the most relaxed, chill person in the world.  I've known him for 30 odd years and I've never - not once - seen him get mad.  He looks at the world through a lens that reminds me of Chris...he's full of smalltown-folksy charm, but underlying it all is a very educated, critically smart perspective delivered in the least pretentious way possible.

True story: My grandfather (who was in WWII) almost never spoke about the war.  When I was a little kid I'd ask him questions about it and he'd just say that he'd rather not talk about it (I was too young to realize that I was making him think about things that he wanted to forget).  Very rarely, I'd get little stories out of him though.  I don't remember how Australians came up, but his view of them was "thank God they were on our side!".  Apparently, they were a bit wild haha!

Big spoon. Little spoons are for stirring your coffee and eating yoghurt.

Soup spoon for soup. I’m not a savage.

Big spoon. Small spoon is for getting raw horseradish out of jars. Although little spoon is nice for ice cream, creme brûlée.

Little spoon person here. Big spoons are for serving. IMO I think I look like I’m using a shovel if I use a big spoon. Plus it makes the meal last longer.

Medium spoon for cereal or ice cream. I have 3 spoon sizes and don't eat soup.

Also, I love eating oranges/mandarins but HATE that my thumb fingernails get gunked up with orange crud. I'd like to invent plastic thumb covers that solve this. One that has a tip to slice the outer peel and the other that can help peel off the rind. Kind of like those Halloween witches fingers kids get but for peeling oranges. There may already be a product like this though
  • DeeDee Adelaide
@calebthrower Just slice the orange into quarters and eat it that way.

As for mandarins, their skin is like a shar pei- what kind of monster sized thumbs have you got going on there?
