Zero pulp. I can still drink it if has pulp, but if I get to choose I’m going with no pulp.

Also, “pulp” is gonna be a funny word to read over and over if this snowballs.

I want maximum pulp.  Simply Orange grovestand and Tropicana "Lots o Pulp" doesn't have enough for my liking.

This is like the one thing in the world I have no strong opinion on. I rarely drink juice but when I do I’m not fussed whether or not there is pulp in it.

  • Oddly enough, a few years after that experiment, I tried the no soap, no shampoo thing.  Stuck it out for a year.  My body adjusted pretty well to it after 2-3 weeks.  (I would still use soap to wash hands and whatnot.)  After I year I went back to soap and shampoo because I like the smell of it.

What in the world is the "no soap, no shampoo thing"?
Basically exactly what it sounds like.  I still scrubbed with a loofah, just using water.  Your body adjusts to not having the oils removed via soap by producing less oils.  I know I've heard Cecily talk about the "no poo" thing before, and her own experiments with it.

Again, those first 2 weeks were awful.  I kickstarted the whole thing while I was down with a respiratory illness for 2 weeks so nobody had to be around me while I looked like unholy greasy hell.  Once my body adjusted, anytime I would talk about it with friends they were surprised, but would always comment that I didn't smell or look dirty.  Some of this could have been politeness, but some of them are the kind of friends who wouldn't hesitate to call me out either.

After the adjustment period, I didn't feel any less clean than I did with soap.  I didn't break out more than I did with soap.  I wouldn't say I broke out any less either.

I don't think i would run the experiment again because of how rough the adjustment period was.  Also, I've always been pretty big on hygiene.  I'm the kind of person that has to take daily showers at a minimum.  I generally will take a shower before I'll even check the mail.  Hell, I'll take a shower before I cut the grass, only to take another shower once I'm done.

That begs another question.  What is your shower schedule?  Mornings?  Nights?  Both?  Daily?  Every 2 days? Every 3?
I’m every night. Like to sleep in a clean bed and wake up and go

I hope this is received in the apolitical spirit in which it is intended; I just feel like - as slogans go - this is what one might call a “first draft idea”...

EDIT: Here’s a link to Biden’s campaign page for those who are (understandably) skeptical:

Why do Americans pronounce the name Ian as Eye-on rather than Ee-an? Or Craig as Creg rather than Crayg? Nowhere else in the world do they do that. Is this another example of American individualism? What is happening here?

(I am watching Mythic Quest and this Eye-on thing is very distracting.)
  • It’s actually a special pronunciation of Ian. They even mention it in the show. It’s not how normal Americans say Ian.

we say Ian normally. Just look at Shameless.

@Hatorian Ten minutes after I wrote that he says “My name isn’t really Eye-on. It’s Ee-an.”

    I stand by Craig/Creg, though.

Okay, a friend of mine just admitted on FB that when she was a little kid, she would mix grape Kool-aid and milk and call it "Mountain Milk." As absolutely insane as that sounds, this old commercial popped up and apparently it was thing?

I also almost made a new topic for this called Food Crimes...

Okay, that just sounds so gross!

I once tried a little fruit punch flavor in my mocha, thinking it would give it the same taste as adding a flavored syrup.  I was very, very wrong.

When I was a kid staying over at my cousin’s house, my aunt used to make us spaghetti pizza, which was literally a can of Heinz spaghetti poured on a shop bought pizza base, smothered with grated tasty (cheddar) cheese and baked in the oven. I loved it, and I made it once for my kid about 10 years ago because I was talking about it and she wanted to try it. She loved it too.

    Food crime y/n?

That reminds me of people mixing milk & Pepsi, making a sort of cream soda.
