Does anyone listen to the David Chang podcast? They often discuss how in America we don't eat enough meals with double or triple starch.

Very good not as spicy but very good flavor. If I could replicate a type it would be Chilies Chili. I cooked for them for a few years and we got it already made up in bags we set in a hot water cooker.

  • Well I can’t speak for myself, but my boyfriend just made himself a hot dog burger topped with cheese, pickles, and ketchup. I may be sick.

Haha. Hey let thee without sin cast the first stone. I’m pretty sure I’ve done worse a time or two.

Made some chorizo potato egg cheese breakfast tacos this morning. I had a major chorizo hankering and last 2 taco truck outings didn’t exactly slap as much as I needed it to so I made ‘em at home.

Omg you guys… so after 16,000 steps around Central Park today, I figured that I burned enough calories to go get a Katz’ pastrami & mustard on rye. So I did. And it’s iconic for a reason - it totally holds up. But when I tell you, there is *so* much sandwich, way more than I can eat. And normally I wouldn’t complain about a guy giving me too much meat ( :smirk: ) but look at this gargantuan deliciousness! :astonished:
You also get a side of their pickles which are soooo good too.

Just got my Gray’s Papaya dogs! Yummmmmmm!
  • Jealous of your NYC food adventures @Michelle .

The first frost of the year did in our tomato plants, had a lot of unripe tomatoes still on the vine, so made fried green tomato sandwiches for lunch. They pickled chiles really tied it all together.

a little late to the party on this one. i would have spread a light layer of mashed potatoes on the tortilla, a mixture of stuffing and turkey on that, then drizzled some gravy on that (like if it was a salsa), and wrap it up B! what about the cranberry sauce you ask? on the side, and only put it on selective bites. dang, now i wanna go back to thanksgiving!

Right?  A steaming hot bowl of this, some honey cornbread with melted butter, and a tall glass of cold milk could just change my whole world right now.

made my kid a "Nacho-dilla". basically it was a quesadilla filled with leftover queso con carne from the Super Bowl, more cheese, and corn chips. "10/10" per my food tester.

Oh man I can imagine that would be so satisfying to use a pizza cutter and hear chips crunch as it slices! Pro leftovers move, amigo!
