    I hate that my first forum post is a negative one, but I had to jump on to vent. I'm listening to this episode right now, and am so frustrated with the background noises.

    I assume it's coming from Kelly's end, but since I know she is also an established podcaster, I'm surprised that she wouldn't think anything of multi-tasking (clanging dishes? running water? not even sure what all is happening) while podcasting. The noises are distracting, and, frankly, seem disrespectful to A. Ron and to the audience.

    Yeah, sorry about that.  I, too, am puzzled about why her skype rig isn't so hot.  We actually spent quite a bit of time making it better, it was waaaayyyy more blown out before we spent 10 minutes dialing it in. 

    I think next year I'll try just doing it via cell phone through skype, because the results should be better.

    Hey thanks for the response. No need to apologize! I can't even imagine all the stuff you have to do behind the scenes to make our podcast sausage, so to speak :)

    I noticed the same thing BossyPantaloons. Annoying but I just chalked it up to it being an unusual podcast format with multiple hosts.

    And besides, if I didn't want to put up with it I would just stop listening so it would be on me not baldmove.
