Pig with Nicolas Cage is actually an Oscar-worthy performance

Who has seen it? Red Letter Media got me into it and I know Aron listens to them. It’s a rather unconventional version of John Wick without at all being like John Wick which makes it memorable. The movie always circumnavigates what Hollywood conditions you to want out of a man looking for his god damn pig. There’s no terrible scene of Cage screaming about his honey or his truffle pig (which admittedly I wouldn’t have hated) Highly recommend.

    He's an extraordinary actor. He just likes to do whatever is put in front of him instead of being selective. I appreciate that about the man.

    I went in with little to no information other than Nic Cage's truffle pig was stolen and it blew me out of the water. It wasn't anything what I expected in the best way possible. You are dead on saying Nic Cage's performance is Oscar worthy but I have my doubts that he won't even be nominated.
