I'm doing a social distancing watching of the Portland/Brooklyn game with my buddy who is a life-long Trailblazers fan so I have to pretend that I'm rooting for them too....but honestly, I want Jarret Allen's hair to win everything.

I’m just hoping that the Mavs give the Clippers all they can handle. I want to have faith that they can pull the upset off but all evidence points to the Mavs being eliminated rather quickly. It’s just SUCH a terrible match up. Who knows! But I’m not getting my hopes up.
The Bulls have sucked for years now and just can’t get a franchise player..I would have thrown the cupboard at either Ja or Luca. It was obvious these dudes were gonna be studs.

and he's only 21!! i love his game, and he's def one of my favorite players. Suns, Kings and Hawks (while i do like Trae's game too but no where near Luca's) really shit the bed that draft night.

As a bit of an expert on teams shitting the bed on Draft night, I agree with your assessment. Phoenix missed on him, but at least Ayton is a pretty good player when he isn't testing positive for drugs. Kings and Hawks should hang their head in shame.
I’m so split on the result of game 1. I was pretty heated about the refs in my immediate response but I’ve cooled off since then. I went in to this game and series hoping that they could hang with a title contender and maybe steal game 1. It’s exactly what happened, just not the circumstances that I expected. Ultimately I’m glad that KP stood up for Luka. I’m trying really hard to not let a single game affect me and focus on long term gains here.

The Clippers give me the Warriors vibes from the last couple years... They'll start on an 18-2 run then dig themselves a 14-point deficit in the second quarter, but they still have more firepower than any other team in the league. I can totally see them dropping a couple games in the first round like the Warriors did last year.

Oh...don't mention last year's Warriors around here, it gives @Chinaski flashbacks.

I'm a bit of a Warriors fan myself, last year wasn't great fun at the end... But seeing LeBron lose Game 1 today did give me a bit of a smile.

I was watching the game with my buddy who is a diehard Trailblazers fan...he was losing his mind in the 4th quarter haha!

I’m an agent of chaos this postseason. Yes, that includes the Mavs winning so that take into it. But for the other series, whatever brings the most entertainment man! We need as much as we can get this year. Last thing we need is chalk and predictable outcomes. I don’t think the Magic and Blazers are going to advance, but shit, make these top seeds earn it! Why not? Weird situations create weird results.
Watching the lottery again was fun, this used to be the biggest day on the calendar for GSW fans. #2 is great but they're going to package it with Wiggins and trade it so now the question is what can they get for that plus the next decade of picks and whatever players they're going to dangle out there to try and find another star for a run next year. I'm not holding my breath for Giannis but you never know. I'm sure Curry is already on the phone with Embiid talking about how rough it must be over there.
Earlier in the week it seemed like we got a bunch of really good games but now it looks like the first round of the NBA playoffs again. Hopefully the mavs can keep it interesting.
