Top 10 of 2019

  I have a real difficult time making top 10 lists but I did my best at it.  I purposefully left out Avengers Endgame and John Wick Chapter 3 because those were easily the most fun I had at the movies but don't really fit with the Best of 2019 in my opinion...

  6. Hotel Mumba (this probably isn't on many peoples list or radar but it was such a scary real portrayal of the events and it didn't hold anything back.  Easily the most anxiety ridden movie I watched in 2019).

  2. Marriage Story

  I have a lot of honorable mentions first and foremost is Midsommar, I had a difficult time not putting it in my top 10 but I just couldn't put it ahead of anything else on the list.  The others are Irishman, Dark Waters, The Lighthouse, Doctor Sleep, Joker and Ready or Not.

  Wow I haven't seen a single one of the movies on either list.  Many seemed interesting when they came out but I'm just now realizing that I literally only go to the theater for Marvel movies anymore.  My shame.

  At my current rate I'll catch up on 2019 movies in the next 5-10 years.

  I agree with the order of 1/3/4/5/7/9 and didn’t see the rest in the top ten. Good list!

  Of the ones mentioned, I would have to put JoJo Rabbit Really high on the list. It's not often a movie can both make you laugh out loud and legitimately choke you up all at once. And what's with this Taika Waititi Guy? When I see some of his photos, i can swear I have seen him in 100 things. But when I look at IMBD, I barely recognize any of his movies and when I look him up on Wikipedia, he looks like a spitting image of a coked out Robert Downy Jr.

  he's legit in my book! i've been a fan for awhile back since he directed/wrote several eps of Flight of the Conchords, and his first film Eagle vs Shark. dude has def came up.
