Whooo dawg!
I'm not even past the opening credit montage and I'm hooked!
Hope we get some OTC coverage, at least!

  • OK ... nice.  Just finished and the ending was superb!

One thing I loved was all the fragments of dna from other movies. Some of my personal favorites were ...

    Kelly's Heroes
    Aliens
    Lord of the Rings
    San Andreas
The Rip Van Winkle Caper (Twilight Zone, S2EP24)
    Escape from NY (of course)

And a zombie show got some righteous tiger cgi for once!!

Not a fan but glad people enjoyed it. I didn’t know the orc from LoTR was a zombie...

Last gripe. Main bad guy is seen surviving multiple heavy caliber machine gun bullets at point blank range from 5 different army guys in the first 5 minutes. But then dies from a single glock type pistol shot to the dome. This movie shouldn’t exist in its own Canon. It’s over when our super emo bad guy who just wants to eat people and raise a family gets blasted by trained marines who jack him up instantly. lame...

Not defending this "not for me" movie but that is often how initial zombie fights are staged: people who don't know they're fighting a zombie often shoot anywhere but the head, letting the zombie tear through a group.  Then someone shoots it in the head and it dies [again].  Makes sense people are trained to shoot at the torso for various reasons.

Later in the film it's annoying that everyone can hit the armored faceplate/helmet Alien(?) Zombie is wearing but no one gets a shot in an eye hole.

I could let it fly and suspend belief they missed him. It is a movie I get that. But it’s just so widely unbelievable scenario they choose to use and its stupid. where’s the helicopters on this super critical transport mission? The US army is transporting a WMD with no air cover?? Yea right.
  • I haven't seen it yet, but my friend said that it was the worst thing he's ever seen.

LOL! I think the thing with this movie is to not take it seriously at all! Think of it like Evil Dead or the Fast and Furious franchise. It's just Snyder f'ing with the genre and having fun with sprinkling homages throughout the script and visuals.

I mean, Kong vs. Godzilla was a dumb ass movie that made no sense at all. At least this movie had an internal logic that they stuck to and were logically consistent with.

My advise? Get a big bag of Taco Bell, get high AF and have a laugh cause this is just some stoopid fun! LOL!

I’m just salty cuz Dawn of the Dead is my favourite zombie movie with Train a close second. This is so far away from Dawn it’s not even funny. I even lowered my expectations cuz I knew it was supposed to be FF with zombies. And it still disappointed.

Train to Buson is Dope AF! I loved that movie and the ending put me into a state of shock, which was just a great subversion of my expectations. My other fav is the Kingdom. So so good.
    Hallyuwood is killing it BTW.

OMG. This makes the movie 10x worse. Like yea. Why the hell did Tanakas man just walk back out the entrance from 5 feet. So stupid!

I was watching this movie in parts and once this was pointed out to me I couldn't stop noticing it

  • Two things that would have made this movie much better.
    1. When they first met up and that one guy decided to pull out. He should have been shot by Tanaka's crew. ie: You're in or you're out
    2. After the ending Helicopter crash, the daughter wakes up and Scott should have been gone. And the final scene should be that Scott comes crashing through a window into Tanaka's house as a full blown Alpha Zombie and he tears him to pieces. Leaving us with a ......................Next Movie.

We do have Vanderohe bitten and on a plane bound for Mexico City as the setup for the next movie.

I was so hoping that Vanderohe was gong for Tanaka too . . . it would have left a better taste in my mouth then him just going to Mexico City.

Hahaha, this is so good. I was super into this movie and I am realizing that I just didn't notice 90% of these problems. Clearly all my dumb brain wants out of zombie movies is a big budget because the more I think about, the less any of it makes sense.
