Giants are playing some surprisingly good ball this year (best record in MLB? WTF?). good for them, and hoping we have a fun series this weekend. full capacity at Oracle Park so place is going to be bonkers. hope fans can contain themselves and not do anything stupid. Go A's!
Are y’all going to games this season? I’m considering once my work clears up and I’m able to have a good time. From what my friends have said, the new stadium having A/C is a huge game changer. It sucks that the team is SO bad.
i went to my first game last month on Friday night with my daughter and it was awesome! sad thing is that the A's had better attendance when they had capacity restrictions than when they fully opened up full capacity. there's so much drama right now with ownership and and the city of Oakland, it's a joke! and unfortunate for the fans.
haha yeah the A's have stunk ever since they lost Mark Canha. i mean, that's no excuse considering their bullpen has been pretty lousy. thankfully the mighty Tigers and Orioles did us a solid with the Astros while the A's are leaking oil.

Haha no worries, I haven't had cable in a few years so my MLB engagement has dropped off to mostly following the Red Sox box scores and watching highlights on Twitter, so I just drop in occasionally these days!
helluva comeback today from the you know who's vs the Yankees. in A's news @Michelle's future hubby hit 2 solo HR's to get ready for the HR Derby in Colorado. can we have whoever the Ranger's pitcher was today pitch to him during the derby? . on an All-Star Game note.. it's a little annoying how many players are opting out. i mean, they are voted in by the fans so obviously it's who the fans want to see, but nope! i heard a great suggestion today that players should say whether or not they plan to play if chosen to the All-Star Game before the season starts. if they say no then they are not put on the ballot.
