Bald move rule #2: Play dead, Lee must be a bald move fan. Fantastic finale guys, no season three but this show is so rewatchable that I know I will be introducing it to friends down the road, and I will have a blast watching it again.
Although doubtful Danny Mcbride says that there is a possibility that they could revisit these characters some day (he's working on something new for HBO currently). How epic would it be if there was a Season 3 with the adventures of Principal Gamby and Vice Principal Stevie!
Excellent season finale, just wished they used Belinda Brown a little more this season.
Did anyone else think that Lee wasn't actually alive b/c he "vanished" during the scene at the food court?
Excuse me? It's Dr. Belinda Brown, kind sir. And yes, I couldn't get enough of her. She's what sold me on the show. The scene of her falling off the wagon might be the funniest thing I've watched in the last 5 years.
I've been rewatching the first season and you guys really should do the same, I don't know if anyone else has noticed this stuff but there is a lot of subtle dialogue hints you will pick up on in the first season that foreshadow the characters themselves or events within the show. 2 examples I found this past weekend, when Gamby first discovers that Snodgrass had slept with Bill Hayden he barges into his classroom to knock one of his desks over, if you listen closely Hayden is lecturing about Alexander Hamilton and Aaron Burr facing off in their gun battle which I think is a subtle hint as to what happens at the season 1 finale. Example 2 and bit more obvious is when Belinda returns to her office with Daseous and Gamby to find Lee reading Pinocchio to her kids which is clearly a reference to Russel himself because like Pinocchio Lee Russel was guilty of lying frequently. This isn't just a comedy, it truly is great television.
