Wel we didn't see Euron. It's possible he split his fleet in half just like Dany did.
What really irked me was the "fire and ice" line from Mellisandre. The DDs are REALLY bad at trying to do these sort of one liners I wish they would stop.
I also love just how clunky her being at Dragonstone was. She more or less said "yeah it makes no sense for me to be here I'm going to fuck off to Volantis until the plot needs me to jet pack in and use my magic again".
Other than that I loved the episode, even the Dany stuff.
We all know GRRM is a Tolkien fan. One of the biggest themes of LOTR and The Hobbit is that usually its the smallest people that don't want to be heros that make the big difference in a fight.
That being said I will be pissed if Theon is literally gollum and the only reason he continues to survive is that he will somehow find the Night Kings dragonglass heart and fall into a volcano will trying to use its power for his own.
Is it wrong that I kind of wanted to find out what it meant to become Frasier?
I mean it looked like they were going to make Matt cum into that funnel.
Does someone then get into the bronze Lion and get inseminated?
Do the women sometimes get in it and get fucked by the Lion?
Does everyone eventually add their contributions in some sort of fertility ritual?
Screw the great departure these are the answers I want!
I'm starting to wonder if this whole thing isn't going to end with it all being in Kevin's head. It's getting really hard to tell what is real and what is potentially him still in the "other place"
I also love how the dog got the peanut butter sandwich. It's a credit to this show that I was like "holy shit maybe the dogs are behind it all" and didn't find it completely out there.
