I blame GRRM. It’s a Song of Ice and Fire, and where there is fire there seems to be occasional heavy smoke.

It got suddenly smoky in my basement a couple of time during this episode, but especially when knighting occurred.

I thought the Arya scene was good. When she first walked in to check on her spear she was gazing at Gendry working the forge and I said out loud that someone is really thirsty tonight and it’s not Gendry. Then they paid that off with her basically telling him that she wants this to happen because she never has and they could die in the morning.

Arya was 100% in control of the situation without question. Maisie Williams had control of the nudity and I thought the side-boob was just enough to show that Arya is a grown-ass woman without being gratuitous. Her stature and the way they dress her causes her to look younger than she is, the side-boob made it seem more-legit.

Further If it’s your last night on earth, can you blame someone for wanting to get a little action? It’s essentially a trope for male characters and turnabout is fair play.

You should also yell: “Dey terk er jerbs!” randomly during the interview and I think you’re hired.

Maybe Canada just thought it was rude to watch us embarrass ourselves here in the US with this dumpster fire.
