Yay tested negative for COVID! Unfortunately I have a sinus infection but I'm glad I'm not going another round with the 'rona. 

Team robe all day. I work nightshift so when I'm finally off and I wake up in the afternoon its robe, tank top, and and underwear for the night. Especially since in the pandemic we can't go anywhere anyway so its gotten dangerously casual in our house. I do put on pants because my daughter has virtual school every day but I'd be lying if I said my lazy ass wasn't put off by it each morning. Reintegration into normal pants-wearing society is going to be a rude awakening

Thank you all for you kind thoughts and for being so open and generous with sharing your experiences.  It truly helped in dispelling much of the anxiety surrounding this scare, and I am so grateful to you❤.

We got good news! It turns out it is a benign cyst and he just needs to follow up in a year with another ultrasound. It is still large enough for him to feel it when he swallows so we have to monitor that but at least cancer is off the table. 
It is so hard not to get caught up in the hectic day to day life, work, bills,  kid in virtual school, pandemic, the absolute absurdity and terror of life in America right now etc. Sometimes we get a swift kick in the ass to remind us of how it really comes down to the people you love surrounding you, and silver lining to this experience is that I won't try to take any of it for granted. We're both 36 now and that immortality of youth veil is slowly being lifted so it's more important than ever to re-learn that lesson.

@Alkaid13 sorry to hear that. There was a big staff outbreak in our unit and I was one of the unlucky ones to get it. I'm really strict about my PPE too so I was upset that other people weren't taking this as seriously. Hopefully you'll have a mild case and be out as soon as the 14 days is up. Laying on your stomach helps so much! Sending good thoughts❤

@Michelle our hospital has starting letting family come in one at a time. I'm in Philly but hopefully they'll start up soon where you are. Also, we tried to do a lot of facetime or zoom,if she's able, and while its not perfect, sometimes its just comforting for families to see the patient "face to face." Sending you good thoughts!
