    A bit hammy at times? Yes. But man every single scene in that thoroughfare felt so alive. Milch captured the visual energy of the original series so well. I just wanted to spend another 8 hours in this world. 

    + The tension banjo was back in full force!

    Ayyy funny, I just picked up the boxset for £7 haha. I thought I’d try out the first season a few months ago and i found my cringe:laugh ratio was way more lobsided toward the latter than expected. I’m not ashamed to say I can’t wait to finish off this odyssey at some point this year. 

    [Edit] additional note: ..the boxset looks all pretty on my shelf.

    I don’t know what it feels like but I was on a flight a week ago and experienced something I never had before. It’s really hard to describe. But I had this incredible shooting pain just above my left eye and it felt like pulses of my brain would feed it. Like it would subside but then come back and did this multiple times. At first I thought it was just a Headache. But after a few minutes I realised it wasn’t. Then I thought it was the pressure but we were not changing altitude yet. Luckily it went away. But it was something I’ve never experienced before. If it didn’t go away I would have probably went to ER when we landed cuz it was that painful and bad. 
    I suffer with this on flights too man, feels like i’m popeye.
